It’s Netflix’s most expensive project in Latin America to date, with Colombian groups and indigenous communities building props and sets for the series.
It could have been really terrible, but it’s not
It’s always hard to translate your inner thoughts, fears, doubts, and internal reactions into things like visions! The English dubbing is pretty good, but I switched to Spanish with English subtitles and felt more comfortable.
I’ve read the book three times in my life and it’s fine
I’m glad they’re taking their time because it’s important to set the scene and it still feels a bit rushed, but at sixteen episodes I’ll live with that. No expense was spared on the locations and sets, which helps set the mood.
